Fan Wu is currently Director in clinical pharmacology & pharmacometrics (CP&P) at Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS), serving as the clinical pharmacology lead of ide-cel (Abecma®) and other CAR T programs. At this role, he represents the clinical pharmacology function in the global project teams and lead the creation of strategic CP&P plans in collaboration with the team, by providing CP&P support to study designs, asset governance meetings, and health authority interactions. Fan has extensive experiences in model-informed drug development, including PBPK modeling support to NDA submission of fedratinib (INREBIC®) to FDA and EMA. Before joining BMS in 2018, he was a senior investigator in DMPK and PK Sciences at Novartis. Fan graduated from East China University of Science and Technology with Bachelor and Master degrees in Chemical Engineering, and then received his PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire and postdoctoral training in Quantitative Systems Physiology from the Medical College of Wisconsin.
