Koh Mun Yee is a recent PhD graduate in Cancer Science Institute Singapore at the National University of Singapore under the supervision of Professor Chng Wee Joo and Dr. Teoh Phaik Ju. Her research explores the role of ADAR1 in multiple myeloma. Prior to her graduate studies, Mun Yee obtained the Bachelor of Science with Honours (Highest Distinction) in Life Sciences, specialization in Biomedical Science from the National University of Singapore, and a Diploma with Merit in Biomedical Science from Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Her earlier research focused on microRNAs dysregulation in gastric cancer, novel tag engineering for solubilizing insoluble proteins, and genetics of stroke and neurological diseases.
