My name is Carlyn Tan, MD, and I am an Assistant Attending at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, specializing in the treatment of multiple myeloma and other related plasma cell disorders. I am part of a multidisciplinary team caring for people with these conditions. My specific research interests include the development of innovative therapeutic approaches for the management of multiple myeloma and the exploration of biomarkers to predict and track responses to these therapies. I am also working to develop methods and interventions to address short-term and long-term toxicities from currently available therapies. I am involved in a number of clinical trials evaluating novel therapeutic approaches for the treatment of multiple myeloma, including bispecific antibodies.
