Following my Internal Medicine residency at Boston Medical Center from 2008-2011, I completed a 1 year training experience as an “amyloid fellow” at the Boston University Amyloidosis Center, and was also a clinical faculty member at Boston University (2011-2012). I then completed Hematology and Oncology training at the University of Washington / Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (FHCC, from 2012-2015). I continued as an Acting Assistant Professor in the Oncology Division of the Department of Medicine at UW/FHCC (2015-2017). In September of 2017, I began as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Oncology and then was promoted to Associate Professor in July 2021.I was appointed the Clinical Director of the Myeloma Service at UW/FHCC in January 2022.
My clinical research is focused on improving outcomes and testing novel combinations for patients with multiple myeloma. I am the PI or co-PI of many industry-sponsored myeloma trials and have been the PI of 4 investigator-initiated trials. I have been involved with the editing and curation of clinical trials and regimens published on the hemonc.org website and am a section editor for multiple myeloma since 2017.
