My name is Adolfo Aleman and I received my Bachelors from Rutgers University in Cell biology & Neuroscience and my Masters in healthcare administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University and am currently a Phd candidate in the Clinical Research department at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. My focus is translational research in the hematological malignancy known as Multiple Myeloma (MM). My projects involve using high dimensional characterization of immunological responses to improve the treatments and prognosis of patients with MM. During the COVID-19 pandemic I have focused on characterizing the cellular immune response in a vulnerable immunocompromised MM patient population.
