Dr. Pankaj Malhotra is a Professor and Head of the Department of Clinical Hematology & Medical Oncology at PGIMER, Chandigarh, India. He has been actively involved in the field of clinical hematology for over the past 25 years. He has published 530 peer-reviewed papers, 25 book chapters, guided 129 MD, DM, PhD, Msc, MPH thesis, and has more than 40 research projects. He is the founder president of Indian Myeloma Academic Group (IMAGe) and was appointed to the board of directors of the International Myeloma Society in 2021. He is on the guidelines committee of ICMR, National Cancer Grid, and National Academy of Medical Sciences for making guidelines of various hematological disorders. He is a temporary advisor to the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), World Health Organisation for contribution in the WHO Classification of Tumours, 5th edition - Haematolymphoid Tumours. He is on the reviewer board of national and international journals and worked as associate editor of the Indian Journal of Hematology and Blood Transfusion from 2013 to 2019.
