I am Dr. Jiye Liu, an Instructor at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Harvard Medical School, working in the lab of Dr. Kenneth Anderson. My research interests are to identify the molecular mechanisms of drug resistance in multiple myeloma (MM) and to develop novel therapeutic approaches to treat MM. I study the mechanism by which the bone marrow microenvironment makes MM cells resistant to normal therapy and immunotherapy. I also studied the mechanisms by which MM cells evade immune surveillance through epigenetic regulation.
