Dr. Sperling received his medical degree and PhD in Biological Chemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2011. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and his fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He is an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School and faculty in the Division of Hematology at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and in the multiple myeloma group at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA. His research focuses on understanding the mechanisms of disease evolution from pre-malignant conditions and the development of drug resistance in multiple myeloma and other hematologic malignancies.
