Mehmet K. Samur, PhD is a Senior Research Scientist in the Department of Data Science at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health. He is trained in computer science and medical informatics and has extensive experience in the development and application of computational biology methods for Multiple Myeloma research, with particular focus on genomics, transcriptomics and single cell heterogeneity. He has been involved in developing bioinformatic tools and has focused on developing methods for the analysis of high throughput genomic data: analysis of cancer genome projects; integration of genomic information across technologies. He has been working on multiple federal and foundation funded Multiple Myeloma research grants as PI, co-PI and investigator.
