Jacqueline Cloos is professor Translational Hematology, in particular acute leukemia, at the Amsterdam UMC, location VUMC, Cancer Center Amsterdam since April 2018. She is head of the MRD team, which performs MRD measurements of AML HOVON studies and several additional clinical AML studies investigating novel drugs. This entails about 1500 samples each year from >50 institutes around the world. She is chairperson of the Dutch AML MRD working party and vice-chair of the European Leukemia Net AML MRD working group ELN-DAVID. Her research interests include leukemia stem cell detection, computational flow data analysis, clonal evolution, drug resistance mechanisms and novel targets of therapy such as splicing and proteasomes.
