Consultant
University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, United Kingdom
My name is Hannah Giles (BMedSci MBChB MRCP FRCPath) and I am a haematology consultant who works at University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB) NHS Foundation Trust in the United Kingdom. I have a specialist interest in plasma cell disorders and undertook a three-year myeloma clinical fellow post at UHB in which I conducted laboratory work and clinical analysis investigating the potential utility of mass spectrometry-based assays for the detection and monitoring of monoclonal proteins in patients undergoing treatment for multiple myeloma and AL amyloidosis.
The poster will be presented on my behalf by Professor Pratt, who is Professor of haemato-oncology at the University of Birmingham and an honorary consultant in haematology at UHB with a specialist interest in patients with plasma cell disorders.
