Internist in training
Cliniques universitaires Saint-Luc, UCL, Belgium
Dr Quentin B. Leman is a young doctor currently specialising in internal medicine and haematology at the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL). Keen to learn how the human body works and to care about the others, he studied medicine for six years at UCL. Interested in organic and systemic diseases, and in comprehensive patient care, he decided to specialise in internal medicine. After three years specialising in internal medicine at the Centres Hospitaliers Jolimont, the Cliniques de l'Europe in Brussels and the Cliniques Universitaires Saint Luc UCL, he decided to focus on adult clinical haematology. He is fascinated by recent discoveries and by the abundance of research in the field of cancer, particularly haematology. He is daily stimulated by the different clinical situations he encounters and the challenges they present. Devoted and empathetic, he also marvels at the beauty and quality of the human relationship in patient care, and is also training in human relations.
