Ben J. Patrick, MSc, is a clinical research coordinator at The Ottawa Hospital in Ontario, Canada. Ben completed a Bachelor of Science in psychology at York University and earned his Master of Science in neuroscience at Western University, working with models of hearing loss and cognitive decline. Ben's current work is primarily centered around investigating real-world clinical outcomes for people living with plasma cell dyscrasias. He is also involved in research identifying epidemiological trends in patients with these conditions, developing innovative solutions to reduce healthcare costs, and finding ways to support his communities. Ben is very interested in the underlying physiology of monoclonal gammopathies and is fascinated by the intersection of cancer pathophysiology and treatment response kinetics.
