Physician
cleveland clinic
I am currently a Hematology and Medical Oncology physician at Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Center and Assistant Professor at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. I am part of the multiple myeloma, AL amyloidosis and blood and marrow transplant programs and section of apheresis medicine. In my current role, I care for patients with plasma cell disorders (PCDs) and perform hematopoietic cell transplant, cell therapies and apheresis procedures.
I am passionate about clinical research in PCDs and have many publications in this realm. I dedicate most of my research time to clinical research, mainly clinical trials and mentoring internal medicine residents and hematology/oncology fellows.
I am also the local principal investigator on multiple industry-initiated clinical trials in myeloma and AL amyloidosis and currently working on an investigator-initiated trial. I am a member of the steering committee for the ASTCT guidelines on hematopoietic progenitor cell mobilization and the American Society of Hematology guideline committee on the diagnosis of AL amyloidosis.
