Mr. William Pilcher Jr, BSE, is a graduate student in the Bhasin Systems Biomedicine lab in the Coutler Biomedical Engineering Department at Emory University, He is currently working towards a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, with his primary research focussing on the use of Single Cell RNA Sequencing technology to study the immune microenvironment in Multiple Myeloma. He collaborates with the Multiple Myleoma Research Foundation as part of the Immune Atlas Consoritum, a project spanning multiple medical centers and universities which aims to better characterize the immune microenvironment of newly diagnosed Multiple Myleoma patients with respect to muliple factors using samples derived from the CoMMpass clinical trial.
