Patrick Hagen, MD, MPH is an Associate Professor in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine from the University of Minnesota and a Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation fellowship from Loyola University Medical Center. He is the co-chair of the Loyola Multiple Myeloma and Amyloidosis research committee, Assistant Director of the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center Clinical Research Office, and Chair of the Loyola Bone Marrow Transplant Quality Improvement Program, and Interim Chari of the Loyola Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Program.
Dr. Hagen is a malignant hematologist and stem cell transplant physician. He performs autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplants as well as Chimeric Antigen T-Cell Therapy (CAR-T). He treats both leukemia and lymphoma but focuses most specifically on treating and undertaking research in multiple myeloma and systemic light chain amyloidosis where he has been awarded both internal and external research funding to undertake investigator sponsored research. He sees patients at Loyola’s Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center and Marjorie G. Weinberg Cancer Center at Melrose Park. He is board certified in internal medicine, medical hematology, and medical oncology.
