Domenico Maisano, Ph.D. is a Post-doctoral research fellow at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA.
Dr. Maisano completed his Bachelor's in Biology and Master's in Molecular Biology at the University of Calabria - Italy in 2015 and 2017, respectively. In December 2021, he obtained his Ph.D. in Life Sciences from Magna Graecia University of Catanzaro - Italy, with a primary research focus on B-Cells epitopic reactivity and Extracellular Vesicles in Hematological Tumors.
In May 2022, Dr. Maisano joined the Nikhil C. Munshi Lab at the Jerome Lipper Multiple Myeloma Center at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School, where he has been working since then as a post-doctoral research fellow. Currently, his research is dedicated to exploring the biology and therapeutics of long non-coding RNA in Multiple Myeloma. His research interests include the role of long non-coding RNA in Myeloma, the development of RNA-targeting small molecules, and the study of RNA structure.
