Alba Rodríguez García graduated in Biology at the Complutense University of Madrid in 2016, and subsequently completed the Master in Biochemistry, Biology and Biomedicine at the same university. In 2017, she joined the H12O-CNIO Hematological Tumors unit for the completion of her Master's Thesis on myelodysplastic syndromes and oxidative stress. Then, in 2018 she started her PhD thesis on multiple myeloma under the direction of Dr. María Linares and Dr. Joaquín Martínez. Recently, she was awarded with the grant of the Spanish Foundation of Hematology and Hemotherapy 2021 to develop her project: "The role of microorganisms in the evolution of multiple myeloma and its response to drugs". Recently, in February 2023 she defended her doctoral thesis obtaining outstanding cum laude.
